Die Eissporthalle Frankfurt, auch Eissporthalle am Bornheimer Hang genannt ist im Besitz der Stadt Frankfurt und wurde am 27. Dezember 1981 eröffnet.
Auf dem Sportgelände befindet sich noch eine weitere kleinere geschlossene Eishalle (675 qm) mit einem 400m langen Außenring (Eisschnellauf), sowie ein weiteres Eishockeyfeld (1800 qm) überdacht, welches im Sommer zu Tennisplätzen umfunktioniert wird.
Einmal im Jahr, pünktlich zur Sommerpause findet die Veranstaltugn "Hessen tanzt" statt.
Es handelt sich hierbei um die größte Tanzsport-Veranstaltung der Welt, bei der diverse Alters- und Leistungsklassen auf bis zu acht Tanzflächen parallel antreten.
Im Jahr 2004 konnten die Frankfurt Lions die bisher einzigste DEL-Meisterschaft feiern. Im Jahr 2010 erfolgte dann ein Konkurs und die Auflösung der Frankfurt Lions.
Der Deutschland Cup 2008 wurde in Frankfurt und in Mannheim ausgetragen.
