Stimmen zur Niederlage gegen Russland
(Deutschland Cup 2017) (Christian Diepold) Die Deutsche Eishockey Nationalmannschaft hat beim Deutschland Cup 2017 in Augsburg das erste Spiel gegen Russland mit 2:8 verloren, dabei waren die Schützlinge von Marco Sturm nach knapp der Hälfte des Spiels sogar mit 2:1 in Führung gelegen.

Doch dann folgte die Stunde oder soll man besser sagen die Minuten der Russen, denn innerhalb von nur 6 Minuten erzielten die Sbornaja 4 Treffer und stellten das Ergebnis auf 2:5. Danach war die Luft beim DEB Team raus und es folgten ernüchternde weitere 20 Minuten wo die B-Auswahl des Rekordweltmeisters weitere Treffer erzielte und das Ergebnis auf ein 2:8 hochschraubte.
Wir haben nach dem Spiel ein paar Stimmen eingefangen:
Marco Sturm: "Das Ergebnis verfälscht den Spielverlauf, unsere Jungs haben über 30 Minuten gezeigt, dass sie mithalten können und danach haben wir das Spiel aus den Händen gegeben, wir werden das analysieren und morgen gegen die Slowakei wieder von Vorne anfangen."
Mikael Samuelsson (Co-Trainer): "Das Ergebnis ist mindestens zwei Tore zu hoch ausgefallen, wir haben heute im Powerplay/Unterzahl verloren, da die Russen diese Situationen eiskalt ausgenützt haben. Die Neulinge Eder und Loibl haben beide eine gute Partie abgeliefert."
Stefan Loibl: "Wir sind durch die Strafen aus dem Konzept gekommen und das haben die Russen dann gnadenlos ausgenutzt, natürlich ist so ein Einstand bitter, aber wir müssen das Spiel abhaken und morgen einfach wieder neu beginnen."
Maximilian Kammerer:"In der Defensive haben wir noch einiges zum verbessern, wir dürfen aber den Kopf nicht hängen lassen, morgen ist bereits die nächste Möglichkeit uns von der besten Seite zu zeigen."
Daniel Pietta: "Das Spiel darf man nicht am Ergebnis analysieren, denn 30 Minuten lang haben wir sehr gut gespielt und mit einigen Fehlern und Strafzeiten die Russen stark gemacht. Die haben dass dann eiskalt ausgenutzt und die Partie gedreht.
